Katsushika Hokusai was an Ukiyo-e print artist famous throughout the world. The Sumida Hokusai Museum has his diverse paintings that he created over 70 years on display. The distinctive outer wall lightly reflects the look of the sky and the surrounding scenery. The museum does not just have permanent exhibitions. It also holds various events throughout the year, including collaborations with manga artists and presentations on the era in which Hokusai was active.
