Recommended as a Kawagoe tourist spot in spring! Introducing a place to view beautiful cherry blossoms.

  • Ikebukuro / Kawagoe

Kawagoe is a wonderful tourist spot famous as a “Little Edo” with a beautiful old-fashioned townscape. From March to early May various events are held here. In April, many cherry blossoms bloom all at once in the Shingashi River, which flows behind Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine. It makes for an excellent place for strolling and cherry blossom viewing. The Cherry Blossom Festival is also held, and the stores opening on the roadside make the atmosphere even livelier. The boats where you can admire the beautiful cherry blossoms from the river are quite popular, so we recommend riding them. Using the KAWAGOE PASS will make your trip to Kawagoe even more convenient.
