Ogawa Town is a tourist spot that is accessible in around 70 minutes from Tokyo’s Ikebukuro Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. Ogawa town is well known for its Japanese paper and is the closest production area for Japanese paper from Tokyo. Its Japanese sake manufacturing, which uses high quality water, also thrives here. Every year, the cherry blossoms at the site of the former Ogawa Elementary School Shimozata Annex (an old school from the past) come out in full bloom around early April.
