Chabudai is a guesthouse built by repairing an over 100-year old Japanese-style house.
They have both dormitory and private rooms. The dormitory rooms are mixed gender and can be used by up to 8 people.
There are also private rooms for individual customers, bed-type rooms that can be used by 4 people, and rooms with tatami floors for 3 people, where you can spread out futon bedding and relax.
There are also a guest lounge and public lounge that can also be used by general guests. The guest lounge features a kitchen, so you can make meals, and drink free beverages. The public lounge is operated as a café in the afternoon, and as a bar at night.
It is considered a place for communication, where various guests, such as local guests and general use guests, gather.
