On August 12 2023, the Toro Nagashi festival will be held on the waterfront terrace (Azuma Bridge) of Sumida Park.
Toro Nagashi is an event that was started to mourn the spirits of those who lost their lives in the Great Kanto Earthquake and the World War II bombings of Tokyo.
Every year, many people regardless of age, gender, or nationality participate in the Toro Nagashi festival.
