Kawagoe is a very popular sightseeing spot with many famous gourmet foods and a townscape of warehouses. Kawagoe Hikawa-jinja Shrine is also famous as a power spot for marriage. In the precincts of this shrine, you can enjoy catching a "tai-mikuji (sea bream fortune slip)" with a fishing pole. This fortune slip is popular due to its vivid color and cute appearance. In summer, they hold a festival called "Enmusubi furin (matchmaking wind chimes)" with many wind chimes on display (until September 5). The sound of the wind chimes is intended to bring good fortune to those who visit this shrine. How about visiting Hikawa-jinja Shrine to enjoy the beautiful sound of the wind chimes?
