Let’s go to see the Kamakura Festival at Yunishigawa-Onsen!
Enjoy the exquisite view of illuminated mini kamakuras (igloos) that are certified as a “night view inheritance of Japan”. After playing with sleds and snow shoes, you can also enjoy a BBQ in a kamakura (lunch and dinner / reservations are required). The main venue where the buildings with thatched roofs are standing is also worth seeing.

*Illuminated mini kamakuras start from 5:30 pm (no illuminations on Wednesdays and Thrugsdays)
Main venue: Take the Yagan Railway to Yunishigawa-Onsen Station (approx. 27 mins. from Kinugawa-Onsen Station). After getting of the train, take a bus.
(To go to Kinugawa-Onsen Station, it is convenient to take a Tobu Railway express train from Asakusa Station).
